Design Services & Courses 
Information for Oregon Clients
Every project is unique, and so are you. That is one of the reasons why we love our work! So that we can work effectively together, here’s a tip: services as described for Oregon Clients will be most efficient for you if you live in or within one hour’s drive from Portland, Oregon. If your property is over an hour outside of Portland, we will most-likely be working with you via web conference.
We tailor our services to each client. However, we follow a general process that involves the steps you see below for each package. We also offer local referrals for installation, if desired.
Design Process
A site visit is followed by studio design work and one or two presentation meetings, depending on the design package you choose. We also offer local referrals for installation, if desired.
Design Packages
Design Packages provide you with options for a professional plan for phasing a design in over time. The two types of packages are Consultations and Master Plans. See descriptions below for how these differ. We also offer several themes within each package type. For both types, supporting information, like recommended steps of phasing in your project, consider layers of information to guide the construction process smoothly to completion.

Permaculture Home-Study Course
A course for Permaculture enthusiasts and property owners who either wish to learn about the subject and apply it to their own properties or are working on the implementation and/or management of a professional design and for whom a design certificate course goes beyond relevant scope.
Permaculture Home-Study Course:
Ten weekly or bi-monthly assignments covering the essentials of Permaculture, tailored to the homeowner, with reading lists, diagrams and printable posters, & integrated projects. Detailed topical assignments include Ethics & Principles, Elemental Flows & Pattern Recognition, Zones & Sectors, Soil & Compost, Plants & Guilds, Insects, Amphibians, & Animals, Yields & Natural Capital, Cash Crops, Social Capital, and a Final Project. Can be taken at own pace.
