Regenerative Landscape Architecture

image: portfolio landscape master plan for a school
This project was for Buckman School in Southeast Portland, Oregon.  The after school program and Project Feed served children of single parents who had to work later than their kids got out of school.  There was a need for food plants and a functional education garden that could demonstrate to potential donors how valuable the programs were for lower-income families.

Results of the Landscape Master Plan included in-ground beds carved out of paths made of permeable gravel that the kids couldn't easily kick out of place, educational signage, edible and native plants, and a central area with a trellis.
